Roadside Waterfalls of Western Washington Paperback – March 8, 2020

A travel guide to over 70 waterfalls in the State of Washington that are either right next to the road or require a short hike of less than a mile on a well graded trail to reach. The book breaks the state down into four individual regions; the Olympic Peninsula, the North Cascades, the Mount Rainier area and Southern Washington. Overall color maps are provided for each region indicating the general locations of the falls and smaller maps are provided for each waterfall or group of falls that are close to each other. Each entry includes a short description, directions, distances from roads or trailheads, if any fees are required to visit, information about the fall including type, stream and height, and recommendation on best time and season to visit. There are also multiple full color photos of each waterfall. In addition to the basic descriptions, the history of the areas, local legends and nearby lodging or camping options are given for some of the regions.
