Problem Strings for Fluency and Beyond: Grade 5

Problem strings consist of carefully crafted sequences of related math problems that help students develop robust mathematical reasoning. More tightly crafted than number talks to rely on more than just talk, they are designed to ensure that fluency and progressive mathematical development result. This unit aligns with grade five objectives and is part of a new mathematics series on fluency that is a companion to k-5 Contexts for Learning Mathematics.
