Rare estate find, French Jewelry Box from the 18th Century. Made of bronze and is very heavy at almost 2 lbs. Decorated with cherubs protecting an image of a warrior. Has signatures at the bottom: some letters and numbers. Can be polished to shiny perfection very easily: I prefer to leave it this way to show its age and authenticity.
