USE: Ladybugs are known for their natural appetite for soft-bodied insects like aphids. A single ladybug can consume dozens of aphids per day. They may also explore areas with mealybugs, leafhoppers, and similar garden dwellers. These beneficial insects are completely plant-safe and will not harm your vegetation in any way. RELEASE: For best results, release ladybugs at dusk or after sundown, as they are less likely to fly away in the dark. At night, they will begin exploring their surroundings in search of food. Ensure the area has been lightly watered before release. Distribute them at the base of plants, bushes, and lower branches of trees where activity is visible. STORAGE: Ladybugs can be stored in a refrigerator at 35–50°F. In early spring (March–May), it’s best to release them within 2–3 days after arrival, as their natural energy reserves are lower. From June onward, they can be stored for up to 2–3 months. It is natural to find a few inactive or expired ladybugs in the container due to the timing of their life cycle. NOTE: These ladybugs are collected and shipped fresh in the USA. They are a natural, eco-conscious addition to any outdoor space or garden setting.
